I decided to become a teacher after working in schools as a paraprofessional for many years.  I enjoy working with students and teaching them skills that will help them learn and grow.  My personal teaching philosophy is that each child should be treated with respect, and should be given the opportunity to learn in a safe environment. 
     My plans for the future are to finish my education and get a job in the school district I currently work for.  I would love to have a classroom that fosters learning, and where students can feel like their ideas and interests are acknowledged and listened to in the future.
